Biography
Fall 2007: Korba posted a 7-2 record during the fall. Korba went 3-0 in dual matches, winning 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles at Utica and winning in straight sets at sixth singles against St. John Fisher. She also picked up a win at third doubles against Elmira. Korba’s only losses in the fall were to Ithaca teammates in the William Smith tournament, with Korba posting four wins in the tournament against opponents from other schools.
2006-07: Korba won six matches during her sophomore season. She went 2-0 in dual matches, winning 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles against Alfred and earning a win at third doubles against Elmira. She won two matches in the third doubles flight at the William Smith Fall Tournament. Korba was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ list following the fall semester.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Solon High School, Korba was coached by Shannon Larsen. As a senior she was team captain and a Western Reserve Conference (WRC) second-team all star. As a junior she received honorable mention to the WRC all-star team and was named the team's most improved player.
Personal: An integrated marketing communications major, she is the daughter of Michael and Laurie Korba.
