Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Ithaca field hockey team lost 3-0 at 15th-ranked Skidmore on Saturday. The Bombers saw a two-game winning streak snapped with the loss, and were held scoreless for the first time this season.

Skidmore (3-2) scored once in the first half and added two goals in the second half of play, and outshot the Bombers 19-4. Junior goalkeeper Chelsea Welsh (Scotia-Glenville/Scotia) made eight saves in the match and Bomber defenders Caitlin Harte (Red Hook/Clermont), Mia Muzio (Rockport/Rockport, Mass.) and Marisa Frank (Bow/Bow, N.H.) made defensive saves.

Ithaca (2-2) travels to William Smith on Wednesday for a 5 p.m. game.
