High School: Hughes was a three-year starter at Superior High School, earning First-Team Lake Superior All-Conference honors during her final two prep seasons and Second Team honors as a sophomore...She is a three-time honoree on the All-Area Volleyball Team...She led the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin among MaxPreps student-athletes in terms of digs as a junior in 2018...Hughes holds the Superior High School record for career digs (1,844), averaging 7.0 digs per set over her career...She served as Team Captain over her final two seasons with the program...Hughes played her club volleyball with Minnesota North Volleyball Club over the past fives years...Her accomplishments at the club level included taking fifth-place at the AAU National Championship in 2017, while she finished Runner-Up for the AAU All-American Award.
