LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Ithaca College baseball team wrapped up its spring trip to South Carolina on March 16 with a 14-8 loss to Oswego. Ithaca returns to New York with an 8-4 record.
IC fell behind, 3-0, after two innings and then took the lead, 5-3, after the top of the fifth. Oswego answered with three runs in the bottom of the fifth and added three more in the sixth to go back ahead, 9-5. IC scored once in each of the final three innings, but the Lakers tacked on five in the eighth inning to secure the win.
Collin Feeney and
Riley Brawdy each had two hits in the loss.
Ethan Rothstein drove in two, while
Matt Curtis scored three runs.
Colin Leyner took the loss in 4.1 innings pitched.
