RESULTS
The Ithaca College men's track & field team sent a majority of the program to St. John Fisher University on Saturday, while a small group went to the Penn Relays.
Justin Showstead won the shot put with a mark of 15.80 meters and was sixth in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.27 meters.
Dom Mikula finished third in the pole vault at 4.90 meters, while
Brendan Sheehan was sixth at 4.75 meters and
Shaun Herlihy was seventh at 4.60 meters.
Daniel Hutchinson took third in the long jump with a mark of 7.09 meters.
IC's 4x400-meter relay of
Ben Buffone,
Conor Ryan,
Jonathan Sadanaga and
Alex Whatley finished in fourth with a time of 3:31.75.
Rich Halvorsen placed fourth in the javelin at 44.73 meters and
Jalen Hines finished seventh with a throw of 40.08 meters.
IC also sent
Nathaniel Oczkowski to the Penn Relays, along with a relay team.
Oczkowski was 26th overall in the 400-meter hurdles and second among Division III runners as he posted a time of 53.86 seconds.
The 4x100-meter relay of Oczkowski,
Anthony D'Addetta,
Samuel Panzer and
Ian Ertel clocked a time of 44.50 seconds to finish 16th overall and 10th among DIII entries.
