RESULTS
MUHLENBERG, Pa. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team competed at Muhlenberg College on Saturday.
Ithaca dominated the pole vault with six competitors finishing in the top seven.
Dom Mikula was first with a clearance of 4. 75 meters (15' 7"), while
Brendan Sheehan also cleared 4.75 meters to come in second.
Callum Howald was third overall at 4.60 meters (15' 1") and
Shaun Herlihy came in fourth with a mark of 4.45 meters (14' 7.25").
Robert George secured fifth at 4.30 meters (14' 1.25") and Matt Weil cleared 4.00 meters (13' 1.5") to come in seventh.
Andy Frank won the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.76 seconds.
Nathaniel Oczkowski was another first place finisher as he claimed the top spot in the 400-meter hurdles in 55.11 seconds.
Frank also won the 200-meter dash in 21.89 seconds.
Justin Showstead placed second in the javelin with a throw of 54.78 meters (179' 9") and third in the discus with a mark of 43.14 meters (141' 6"). Showstead also competed in the hammer throw and finished in third at 48.96 meters (160' 7").
Brett Atkin was the runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles at 16.50 seconds, while
Matt Lokshin took fifth at 16.89 seconds. Lokshin also ran in the 400 hurdles and placed fifth in 1:00.16.
Patrick Bierach clocked a time of 10:05.99 in the steeplechase to come in sixth place overall.
Noah McKibben took seventh in the high jump at 1.65 meters (5' 5").
Alex Whatley took seventh in the 800-meter run at 2:00.49.
Ithaca entered two relays in the 4x100 as the 'A' team finished in second at 43.24 seconds and the 'B' squad finished in at 46.44 seconds. The 4x400 team finished fourth in 3:30.04.
