NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team finished up competition at the AARTFC Championships at the NYC Armory on Saturday, March 4 and finished in fourth place with 41.5 points. IC posted 37 points to lead the field after Friday's opening day.
Meghan Matheny was IC's top performer on Friday as she cleared 3.86 meters (12' 8") in the pole vault to claim first place overall. Matheny improved on her best mark this season and remains eighth in Division III.
Logan Bruce was the runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles with another school record time of 8.69 seconds and now sits in sixth in Division III.
Martha Kemp-Neilson was third in the pole vault at 3.71 meters (12' 2") and
Sara Altonen placed fourth with the same mark.
Sara Brown placed fifth in the long jump at 5.45 meters (17' 10.75") and
Moriah Byrd finished fifth in the pentathlon with 2992 points.
On Saturday, Bruce tied for fourth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.60 meters (5' 3").Â
