Box Score 1 ORLANDO, FL – The Ithaca College women's tennis team dropped its first match of its Spring Break Trip in Orlando, Florida, 5–4, to Springfield College. The Bombers split its singles matches 3–3, but the Pride went 2–1 in doubles matches to earn the victory. 
 
Taylor Crain and 
Caroline Herz teamed up for the Bombers lone doubles win, dominating Veronica Fulgieri and Emma Aberle for an 8–1 win. 
Zoe Davis and 
Rebecca Andrews fell in a tight match 9–7 to Gabby Heaney-Secord and Ramida Manataweewat. 
 
Crain won again in her singles match, winning both sets by a score of 6–3 over Heaney-Secord. 
Sabrina Cheung won her match in the sixth spot for the Bombers, taking the sets 6–1 and 6–4. 
Kayla Shenk picked up a big victory in extras, defeating Taylor Suozzo in a tight match. 
 
The Bombers were edged out, 5–4, by the Pride, moving its record to 2–2. The Bombers second match of the day against the University of Mary Hardwin-Baylor was unfinished due to inclement weather. 
 
The Bombers return to action on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match against Stevens College.
