Men’s Swimming & Diving Dominant in 199.5-94.5 Victory over Hamilton College

ITHACA, N.Y. – In their first meet of the New Year, the Ithaca College men's swimming & diving team welcomed Hamilton College to town on Sunday. The Bombers returned to their winning ways with the 199.5-94.59 win inside the Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium over the Continentals.

Highlights of the dual for the Bombers saw them win each event, except the 200-yard IM. Ryan Cooke won the 200-yard freestyle by over three seconds with a recorded time of 1:45.88. Michael Paulos took home first place with a time of 1:01.33 in the 100-yard breaststroke. Ben Young was victorious in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle races showing off his speed, while gaining valuable team points. Matthew Johnston also had a pair of first-place finishes first in the 100-yard backstroke and then later in the 200-yard event as he finished that race in 1:59.75. It was an incredible finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with Joey Pezzini and Hamilton's Edward Ha both finishing with the same time of 2:14.27 to split first.
