RESULTS
NEW YORK CITY – The Ithaca College men's track & field team competed in the TCNJ Invitational at the NYC Armory on Saturday in what was the first meet of 2023.
Nathaniel Oczkowski finished first in 60-meter hurdles prelims at 8.49 seconds and won the final in 8.45. Oczkowski also ran in the 500-meter dash and placed third at 1:07.21.
Dom Mikula was the runner-up in the pole vault at 4.70 meters (15' 5").
Brendan Sheehan was fifth at 4.40 meters (14' 5.25") and
Shaun Herlihy took seventh at 4.40 meters (14' 5.25").
Jalen Leonard-Osbourne took second in 60-meter dash prelim at 6.89 seconds and finished third in final at 6.81 seconds. The difference between second and third was .004 seconds.
Andy Frank was third in the 200-meter dash at 22.51 seconds.
Justin Showstead was fourth in the shot put at 15.26 meters (50' .75"). Showstead also finished fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 14.87 meters (48' 9.5").
Daniel Hutchinson took ninth in the high jump at 1.78 meters (5' 10").
The Bombers are home next Saturday, January 21 for a quad meet starting at 12:30 p.m.
