2021-22 Liberty League Women's Rowing All-Conference Team
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Liberty League released its end-of-the-year awards for women's crew on May 19 and the No. 1 Ithaca College Varsity Eight was named the top crew in the league, while for the second-straight season
Becky Robinson and her staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year. Additionally, five student-athletes earned a spot on one of the two All-Liberty League Teams that were announced on Thursday.
The Ithaca 1V claimed the Liberty League Crew of the Year award after capturing a gold medal at this year's conference championship. They took the gold by defeating crews from Skidmore, William Smith, University of Rochester, RIT, St. Lawrence, Union and St. John Fisher. The lineup featured

Eliza Worth and they finished the course in Saratoga, N.Y. with a recorded time of 7:00.03.
At the NIRC, the Bombers were second in their heat (6:50.43) before edging out Wellesley by .04 seconds in the 1V grand final with a time of 6:46.62 for the win. It was only the second victory at the NIRC in Ithaca women's rowing program history

Beth Greene and
Mikayla Henry were named the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year. Robinson and her staff directed the Bombers to three race wins at the Liberty League Championship, including the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Four. With a win in the Varsity Eight, the Bombers earned their fourth consecutive Liberty League title and with the second varsity eight competing at the conference championship, they also earned their fourth straight trip to the NCAA Championship with the league's automatic qualifier, which takes places next week, May 27-28 in Sarasota, Florida.
In addition, five Bombers rowers were also named as All-Liberty League rowers, three on the First Team and two were selected on the second team. IC's First Team honorees were

Allison Arndt. Senior Isabelle Ozkurt and junior
Taylor Volmrich were the Bombers Second Team honorees.
The Bombers are ranked No. 1 in the latest CRCA poll heading into the NCAA Championships that will be held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida beginning on Friday, May 27.
