2019-2020
The spring season was cut short after a week of rowing in Gainesville, Ga. that concluded with a scrimmage against Penn State and Catholic University. Hyland coxed the Second Varsity Eight to a second-place finish, right behind the IC First Varsity Eight.

2018-2019
In the fall, Hyland coxed the Collegiate Eight at Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Mass. (10/21), earning a fourth-place finish. During the spring, Hyland was a key contributor as coxswain of the Third Varsity Eight. Her boat placed first at the New York State Championship in Saratoga Springs, NY (5/4) and contributed to the Team Points Trophy. Hyland led her boat to a fourth-place finish at the NIRC Third Varsity Eight Petite Final in Worcester, Mass. (5/12). She attended the NCAA Championship in Indianapolis, Ind. (6/1) as a spare coxswain.

2017-18
Hyland had a stellar novice season with the Bombers as the coxswain of the Women’s Novice Eight. During her rookie season, she coxed her boat to a Second-Place finish, with a time of 8:28.628 at the New York State Championships (5/5)... And a Second-Place finish, with a time of 7:06.15 at the NIRC Women’s Championships (5/11)... And was named as part of the Liberty League Novice Crew of the Year...

High School
Hyland went to Arlington High School where she earned three varsity letters for crew and was a senior captain, while rowing at Arlington Rowing Association and Hudson River Rowing Association.

Michele, a physical therapy major, is the daughter of Marylou & Richard Hyland.
