Box Score TROY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis program returned to Liberty League action on Saturday as they dropped a 7-2 decision to RPI on the road at the Sharp Courts. The loss dropped IC's overall record to 10-7, while they fell to 3-4 in the Liberty League.

The Engineers began the day by taking wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Bombers earned their first team point of the day as the No. 3 doubles pair of Caroline Herz and Kayla Shenk were victorious over the RPI pair by an 8-4 score.

Ithaca was only able to manage just one singles victory as Taylor Crain had success in the No. 1 slot as she was victorious over the No. 16 regionally ranked Alex Mednikova. She faced off against Mednikova and won the first set 7-6, dropped the second 6-7 and fought back to win the third set 11-9.

The Bombers will host Bard College on the Wheeler Tennis Courts on Sunday, April 24. The match against the Raptors is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
