Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca College women's tennis team bested SUNY Oneonta on Saturday afternoon for the team's third straight win to start the spring season. Reigning Liberty League Rookie of the Week 
Taylor Crain took home wins in both singles and doubles against the Red Dragons, making her collegiate record perfect at 6-0. 
 
Fellow first-year 
Lauren Rodriguez and junior 
Zoe Davis also hold perfect 6-0 records in both singles and doubles to start the season. 
 
In the first doubles slot, Crain and Rodriguez easily defeated Madeline Carswell and Maxie Karen 8-2 for the pairing's third straight doubles win together. 
 
Rebecca Andrews and first-year 
Ekaterina Kelly finished second, falling to Oneonta 2-8 in the third doubles slot.
 
First-year 
Eliana Chelnick and 
Zoe Davis took home the final doubles win for the Bombers in the second doubles spot, taking down Oneonta's Olivia Fraser and Rebecca MacDonald, 8-5. The victory also marked the pair's third straight win together this season.
 
Davis quickly grabbed the next win for the Bombers, dispatching the Red Dragons' MacDonald once again, at 6-3, 6-2. 
 
Rodriguez, an honoree in last week's Liberty League awards, grabbed another singles win for the Bombers in the second spot, downing Carswell after a tough first set 7-6, 6-0. 
 
At first singles, Crain secured the team win for the Bombers against Oneonta's Ferraro. The rookie dominated the first set 6-0 then narrowly dropped the second 6-7. Crain took the super tie-breaker 10-3, to notch her third straight singles victory. 
 
Junior Becky Andrews defeated the Red Dragon's Sophia Schutte for Ithaca's next win in straight sets 7-6, 6-1 in the third singles slot. 
 
First-year 
Kayla Shenk took a tough loss, the first of her collegiate career, 2-6, 6-2, 5-10 to Oneonta's Karen at the fifth singles flight. 
 
Junior 
Caroline Herz won her first singles match of the season in the last slot, besting Red Dragon opponent Julia Holtermann 6-2, 6-4. 
 
For it's next match, the 3-0 Bombers will take on Allegheny College tomorrow, Sunday March 5, for the team's final home match before spring break. Start time is slated for 8 a.m.
