Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's lacrosse team got back on track and cruised to a dominant 23-4 victory over Lycoming College on the road Wednesday afternoon in Williamsport, Pa. With the win, IC moves to 2-1 on the young season and is now 16-0 all-time against the Warriors. Lycoming slides to 0-2 with the deficit.

- The Bomber offense was lights out on the afternoon, racking up 36 shots on goal and winning the ground ball ratio 46-to-17.
- Star midfielder Connor Brumfield led Ithaca in the scoring column with five goals. Jake Erickson, Willy Wright, Kyle Proctor, and John Sramac all followed behind by notching three goals apiece.
- Defensively, Ithaca held its second opponent of the season to four goals or fewer, holding Lycoming to just 14 shots on goal through 60 minutes of action.
- Senior Connor Thornton saw minimal playing time today as the starting goalie and accumulated one goal. Junior Ryan Laforty stepped up in the backup role, registering eight saves.
How it Happened
- Brumfield opened the scoring just 54 seconds into the game, launching a laser into the net from 15-yards out. This was just the beginning of an all-out scoring frenzy, as Erickson and Proctor both added to the lead momentarily to make it 3-0.
- Ithaca fired nine goals in the opening stanza to engineer a swift 9-2 advantage.
- The Bomber offense continued to suffocate the Lycoming defensive front, as Sramac tallied two goals within the first two minutes of the second period to forge his team ahead and make it an 11-2 contest.
- It was all IC with eight of the next nine goals to take a comfortable 17-3 lead heading into the halfway point.
- The third period was much quieter, but the Bombers did not surrender a single score while adding two more goals on the board to take a 19-3 advantage to close out the third.
- Wright scored his third of the afternoon to start off the fourth and freshmen Nolan DiSora and Graham Brady put themselves in the scorebook with their first career markers to put an exclamation point on the road victory.
Ithaca College will look to add to the win column this Saturday, March 5 when the unit travels west to take on SUNY Geneseo. The opening face-off is set to begin at 1 p.m.
