LIBERTY LEAGUE HISTORY:
The Liberty League Tournament which expanded to six teams in the 2017 season, has seen William Smith crowned champions each year since 2007 as they've won 14-straight LL championships and totaled 18 during their programs storied history.

Ithaca College came extremely close to knocking them off just a season ago as in the 89th minute of play, the Bombers thought they had won it all when Alex Epifani chipped a shot from just outside of the 18-yard box that was misplayed by the William Smith goalkeeper and found the back of the net. However, just 39 seconds later the Herons tied it once again and eventually scored the game-winner in double overtime for the 3-2 win.

SCOUTING THE BOMBERS:
The Bombers feature not only a potent offensive attack, but they're balanced as well with four student-athletes totaling double-digit point totals. Rosie Bostian leads the team in points with 17 coming off eight goals and one assist. The junior forward is tied for second in the league in goals scored and also ranks third in shots (56) and shots on goal (27).

Ally Stanton and Delaney Rutan both have 15 points, Stanton's coming off seven goals and an assist while Rutan has added five goals and five assists. Ally Stanton has shown her flair for dramatics with four-game winning goals, which is tied for second in the Liberty League. Megan Buttinger has totaled 12 points on three goals and six assists.

Ithaca has totaled eight shutouts this year with Claire Reader in goal for six of those. The talented junior enters the postseason with a 0.85 goals against average with 65 saves. She also has a strong defensive backline in front of her led by both Allison Heft and Jessica Bredin.

SCOUTING CLARKSON:
The Golden Knights have the second longest unbeaten streak in the Liberty League at six games (4-0-2), trailing the 13-game run by top-seeded William Smith. They have scored 33 goals this season, while giving up just 16.

Sarah Kohls enters as both the leading point scorer (19) and the leading goal scorer as she has netted eight this season including a pair of game-winners. Another field player to watch for Clarkson is Maddie Lopol who has scored three of her five goals during conference play this season. The junior scored a goal in the first round win over Skidmore.

Molly DiCaprio will get the start in goal for the Golden Knights as she is coming off an eight save performance in Tuesday's first round win, which included her making stops on the final two PK attempts, which sent her team to the semifinals. The sophomore has started all 18 games where she has an 0.90 goals against average, while making 80 saves.

POTENTIAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHUPS:
William Smith, who were ranked sixth in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll will host RIT, who advanced as the No. 4 seed after a 3-1 win over Vassar on Tuesday. This semifinals contest will take place in Geneva, N.Y. and will kick off at 2 p.m. on Friday. The Herons come into the postseason on the heels of two straight scoreless draws and are unbeaten in its last 13 contests. Ithaca hosted them on September 28 and fell 3-0 at Carp Wood Field.

The Bombers did beat RIT in the second to last game of the regular season defeating the Tigers on the road 2-1. Ithaca has had success in their all-time series with RIT owning a 26-5-3 overall record and have won two-straight dating back to last season.

The highest remaining seed following Friday's action will host the championship contest on Sunday.
