KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ithaca College women's soccer senior
Ali Amari was recognized for her success on the field and in the classroom on Wednesday when she was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region Third Team.
In order to be named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region team, a player must be a junior or above with at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average, and have played in a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season. They also must be an elite player supported by all-conference, all-region or All-America honors.
Ali Amari adds Wednesday's academic honor to her Liberty League All-Academic and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections this fall. Amari also picked up Liberty League Third Team honors as well as United Soccer Coaches All-Region III Third Team after appearing in and starting all 18 games. She anchored a backline that allowed just eight goals all season, the best mark in the Liberty League. Her efforts also contributed to 10 shutouts, and the Bombers had a goals against average of just 0.470, which ranked 16
th across all of Division III.
Ithaca concluded the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 8-6-4 after falling in the Liberty League semifinals to No. 20 Vassar in overtime. A complete look at all of this year's honorees can be found
