COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ithaca College gymnastics team competed in their second meet of the season as IC traveled to Ursinus College for a quad meet with Cortland and Springfield. Ithaca finished second overall with a team score of 184.925, while Ursinus was the top team with 185.825. Springfield and Cortland were separated by just .3 points, 181.700 and 181.400, to round out the meet.

The Bombers began the day on beam and notched an event score of 45.625.
Zoe Kyriakopoulos posted IC's top mark on beam with a 9.400, which resulted in a tie for fifth.
Julia O'Sullivan turned in a 9.300 routine, while
Ai-Zhen Tung was awarded 9.200 in her first competition of the season.
Kaylie Goodwin (8.850),
Amelia Bailey (8.875) and
Jillian Freyman (7.950) also competed for the Bombers on beam.
Ithaca then moved over to the floor, where IC posted the top score of the day with 47.825.
Five Bombers performed extremely well, all earning 9.400 or higher. A. Bailey finished with the second highest score out of 24 gymnasts with 9.675, while
Nicole Lonski was fourth overall at 9.650.
Caitlin Pellegrino tied for sixth with a score of 9.600 and Freyman concluded her routine with 9.500, which tied for 10th.
Meghan Bell turned in a 9.400 routine and Goodwin scored 7.950.
IC's third rotation took the Bombers to the vault, where they finished second in team scoring at 46.650. All six gymnasts scored over 9.075 for the team's most consistent event of the day.
Freyman was the top performer for IC with 9.550, while
Dallas Rachal turned in a 9.350 routine.
Nya Pauldon completed her vault at 9.325 and Bell was awarded 9.275.
Cassidy Gallivan scored 9.150 and Goodwin posted 9.075.
The final event of the day for Ithaca was the bars, and the Bombers scored 44.825, which was the lowest total of the meet (for all teams) as only two gymnasts turned in routines over 9.125.
Lonski was by far the best performer for IC, as she posted a 9.550, which was the top score in the meet.
Cameryn Nichols competed in her first routine of the season and earned 9.125, while O'Sullivan and
Marlena Bailey each scored 8.750. Goodwin finished with 8.650 and Kyriakopoulos earned a score of 8.400.
The Bombers will host their first meet of the season against Brockport in a dual on January 30 inside Ben Light Gymnasium at 1 p.m. Only approved Ithaca College community members will be allowed to attend the meet.
