RESULTS
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's cross country team competed at the RPI Saratoga Invitational at Saratoga Springs State Park on Saturday and finished in second out of seven teams with 52 points. The host Engineers won the meet with 31 points.
Ithaca's five scoring runners all finished within the top 17 in the 6K race, which consisted of 70 total entries.
Jillian Shea took fifth overall with a time of 24:24.1, while
Lindsay Scott was right behind in sixth at 24:38.1.
Lauren Lobdell clocked in at 24:53.6 to finish in 11th overall and
Julia Tomanovich was 13th in 25:02.8.
Rachel Rose rounded out the top five with a 17th place showing at 25:17.2.
Just missing out in the top five here
Meredith Garrity and
Isabel Johnston, who finished in 18th and 19th. Garrity posted a time of 25:21.1 and Johnston turned in a time of 25:35.0.
Paloma De Monte (25:43.1),
Courtney Dalke (25:45.1) and
Ally Bukstel (26:33.2) also competed for the Bombers on Saturday.
Ithaca returns to action next Saturday, October 2 at the Mike Woods Invitational hosted by SUNY Geneseo.
