RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 24 Ithaca College women's cross country team finished fifth out of 18 schools at the UR Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday. Ithaca recorded 134 points at the meet in the program's stiffest competition of the year. The Bombers were third among Division III schools in the meet.
Cornell University and the University of Buffalo took the top two spots on Saturday. RIT and Rochester finished ahead of Ithaca with 126 and 127 points.
There were 203 runners that completed the 6K course on Saturday.
Lindsay Scott placed 15th overall and fourth in DIII with a time of 23:16.5 to pace IC.
Jillian Shea was 27th overall and 21st in scoring with a time of 23:45.8, while
Lauren Lobdell followed in 37th (29th) at 24:04.3.
Rachel Rose and
Kierra Heinly rounded out Ithaca's top five with 41st and 44th place showings. Rose took 33rd in scoring with a time of 24:08.1 and Heinly was 36th in 24:09.8.
