ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team has officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2021 campaign, the 88th season for the Bombers program. IC has 10 games listed on its schedule this season, including four games at Butterfield Stadium.

The Bombers open the year on September 4 at 1 p.m. against Bridgewater State University on South Hill. The opening kickoff will mark 651 days since the Bombers last played a football contest. Ithaca and Bridgewater will square off for the first time ever in early September.

IC will then hit the road for away games at Brockport on September 11 and Alfred on September 18. The Bombers are 23-12-2 all-time against the Golden Eagles and 40-18-2 in matchups against the Saxons.
 
On October 2, the Bombers welcome Hobart to Butterfield Stadium for IC's first Liberty League showdown of the year. The 1 p.m. kickoff will also represent Alumni Weekend on South Hill. IC and Hobart have met 32 times since 1961 with the Bombers winning the last contest, 34-0, in Ithaca during the 2019 season.
 
Ithaca will once again take to the road with Liberty League away games at Rochester on October 9 and St. Lawrence on the 16th. IC has won all three games against Rochester and St. Lawrence since joining the Liberty League.
 
Buffalo State will make its way to Ithaca on October 23 for another 1 p.m. Liberty League battle and then the Bombers conclude the month of October with a matchup against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on the 30th in Troy. IC has one each of the past two meetings against Buffalo State, but has fallen to RPI in three straight.
 
The home and Liberty League finale is slated for November 6 against Union, the defending league champions. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. IC will look to avenge a 2019 loss to Union, which gave the Dutchmen the Liberty League title.
 
IC's regular season concludes with the 62nd Cortaca Jug Game on November 13 in Cortland at 12 p.m. Due to the cancellation of the 2020 season, Ithaca and Cortland mutually agreed that the Red Dragons host this year's game. Ithaca will host the 2022 Cortaca Jug Game.
