ITHACA, N.Y. – Newly appointed Ithaca College football head coach
Brandon Maguire has announced the promotions of three current members of the coaching staff.
"I am pleased that we were able to retain these three coaches," said Maguire. "They provide stability for the program and the players, while bringing energy, experience, and a commitment to carrying on the Bomber standard of excellence."
Will Margraff will move from linebackers and co-special teams coordinator to defensive coordinator. This past season, Margraff mentored All-Liberty League performers
Ryan Burns and
Henry Takacs who combined for 110 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks. Takacs was also a CSC Academic All-District selection
"Will has demonstrated tremendous growth and leadership since joining our staff. He brings a great passion for the game, a deep understanding of defensive football, and a tireless work ethic that has had a strong impact on our program. Will has played a critical role in our defensive game planning and in the development of our players, including coaching Liberty League First Team linebacker
Ryan Burns. His experience at Marist, Hampden-Sydney, Penn, and here at Ithaca has prepared him well for this opportunity, and I'm excited to see him lead our defense moving forward."
Will Gladney, a 2020 alumnus and the all-time leading receiver in program history, has been hired as a full-time coach and will work with the wide receivers. Gladney will continue to work with an extremely talented receiving group led by
Nicholas Lang, who was First Team All-Liberty League after compiling 60 receptions for 899 yards and 10 touchdowns.
"Will has done an outstanding job with our wide receivers and has quickly established himself as a valuable member of our coaching staff. As a former Ithaca player, he understands the tradition and standards of our program and brings that perspective into his coaching every day. He had a tremendous career here as a student-athlete, and now he's making a significant impact developing our wide receivers both on and off the field. We're excited to promote Will to Wide Receivers Coach and look forward to his continued growth as a coach and leader in our program."
Drew Miller, another alum from 2021, will assume the role of recruiting coordinator on top of his current duties as the offensive line coach. Miller coached an offensive line unit, led by all-league honorees
Jimmy Mullevey and
Daniel Pauletti, who anchored the line to average nearly 160 yards rushing per game in 2025.
"Drew has done an excellent job leading our offensive line over the past three years. He brings great energy, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the game. Drew has done incredible work as our recruiting coordinator as well. We're excited to promote him to Run Game Coordinator and look forward to the continued impact he'll have on our offense."
