2026 SCHEDULE
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team has finalized its 2026 schedule, which will kick-off on September 5. Ithaca is coming off an 8-2 season that culminated with a 26-21 win over Cortland and will head into next fall with a new head coach at the helm in
Brandon Maguire.
The Bombers will hit the road for their opener at Johns Hopkins University at 12 p.m. for the third all-time matchup between the two schools. Johns Hopkins went 12-2 and reached the national semifinals last season, where the Blue Jays fell to eventual national champion Wisconsin-River Falls by a touchdown.
IC then hosts three straight games at Butterfield Stadium from September 12-26. The Bombers' Week 2 matchup is against long-time rival Alfred University and kick-off will take place at 6 p.m., which will mark the first home night game for the varsity program.
The following Saturday, September 19, Ithaca opens Liberty League play against Hilbert College and then St. Lawrence University travels to South Hill for a 1 p.m. contest on the 26th.
Ithaca will then make the short trip up to Hobart College the following week for an October 3 showdown with the Statesmen at 1 p.m. and then the Bombers return home for Homecoming and Hall of Fame Weekend against the University of Rochester on October 10.
Following a bye week, two road trips are on deck from there as Ithaca travels to Union College on October 24 and Buffalo State on Halloween.
Ithaca's home finale takes place on November 7 against RPI and the regular season concludes back at Yankee Stadium for the 67th Cortaca Jug Game on November 14.
