RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams traveled up to Roberts Wesleyan on Friday evening to compete in the Redhawk Capstone. Friday was the final meet of the year before IC takes part in the AARTFC Championships and the NCAA Championships.
For the No. 2 women, IC posted 10 top eight finishes on the day.
In the pole vault,
Juliann Terry won with a top mark of 3.85 meters, while
Gwen Gisler came in sixth at 3.50 meters and
Jamie Rossig finished eighth with a clearance of 3.20 meters.
The 4x100-meter relay team of
Katarina Gomez,
Katelyn Hutchison,
Sarah Lachenmayr and
Maggie Nickerson secured first in a time of 3:55.14.

Hutchison was a runner-up in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.56 seconds, while Nickerson took fourth in the 800-meter run at 2:15.10.
Samantha Healy took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 50.25 meters and fourth in the shot put at 12.41 meters, while
Ariyahna Bernard came in third in the hammer at 49.37 meters.

Molly Sear was an eighth place finisher in the triple jump, measuring out 10.83 meters.

On the men's side, two Bombers won their events, while 15 others finished in the top eight.
Andy Frank won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.89 seconds, while Sam Panzer clocked in at 11.40 seconds in the 100 to finish sixth.

Frank also took runner-up honors in the 200-meter dash in 21.95 seconds and
Jordyn Harrigan was fourth at 22.88 seconds.

Nathaniel Oczkowski registered a first place showing in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.75 seconds, while the 4x400-meter relay of Oczkowski,
Zachary Wachs, Stephen Malenowksi and
Zachary Woodruff were third in a time of 3:22.31.

Wachs also placed eighth in the 800-meter run at 1:55.56.
Akap Takor measured out 6.57 meters in the long jump to place fourth overall.

Dom Mikula cleared 4.85 meters in the pole vault to finish third overall, while
Brendan Sheehan came in fifth at 4.55 meters and
Callum Howald tied for seventh at 4.40 meters.

Luke Tobia came in fourth in the hammer throw at 53.17 meters and was fifth in the shot put with a mark of 13.87 meters.
Justin Showstead finished second in the javelin at 50.62 meters, fifth in the discus at 42.51 meters and eighth in the hammer with a mark of 46.55 meters.

Spencer Whitmore was an eighth place finisher in the triple jump in 12.31 meters.
