GENEVA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's tennis team could not complete the season sweep over William Smith College on Sunday, as the Herons took down IC, 7-2. Ithaca is now 2-5 on the season and 1-4 in the Liberty League.

The Bombers fell behind William Smith, 3-0, after doubles action and forced an uphill battle for the remainder of the day.

Sara Steinberg and Rel Klein kept IC in the match by winning and third and fifth singles, but those were only two points the Bombers could secure. Steinberg prevailed, 6-4, 6-1, at third singles, while Klein won, 6-2, 6-0, at the fifth flight.
