Women's Lacrosse Reveals 2021 Schedule

The No. 15/16 Ithaca College Women's Lacrosse team announced its 2021 schedule on March 11. The Bombers are slated to play up to 12 games in the abbreviated regular season. The schedule consists of eight Liberty League matchups and potentially four non-conference contests. The Bombers will play the same team twice each weekend in Liberty League play, with one home game and one away game.

The Bombers' schedule kicks off with non-conference home matchups against No. 24 Cortland on March 17 and No. 16 Brockport on the 20th. IC will then play a road tilt against RIT (3/26), followed by a home game with the Tigers (3/27). The following weekend the Bombers will have a home game against No. 19 William Smith (4/2) followed by a trip to Geneva for a road matchup with the Herons (4/3). The final two home-and-homes of the season will be against the University of Rochester (4/16, 4/17) and Vassar (4/23, 4/24).

The Liberty League semifinals and championship are tentatively slated for April 28 and May 1, respectively.

The Bombers enter the season coming off of an extremely successful campaign in 2020 that was cut short. The team got off to a 5-0 start that included four consecutive wins over ranked opponents. With only three seniors graduating from a year ago, a lot of pieces are still in place for Ithaca to shine again in 2021. This year's group features 11 seniors who bring big game and postseason experience with them into their final campaign and hope to lead their team to the NCAA Tournament for a second consecutive postseason.
