Hamilton Too Much for Women’s Lacrosse, 21-9

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team played its final non-conference game of the 2026 season at Hamilton College on Tuesday afternoon and fell short to the Continentals, 21-9. Ithaca is now 10-5 on the year.

The game began with an immediate Hamilton possession and shot which was saved by Bomber goalie Mikaela Dattilo. However, the Continentals netted their first goal just a minute into the game as they broke through the Bomber defense. Two possessions later Ithaca's Kelly Augeri tied the game up at 1-1.

The two teams then exchanged goals throughout the nine-minute mark of the first quarter as Lily Cody netted her first of the day. Augeri then tallied her 37th goal of the season keeping the game tied at 3-3 with just over five minutes remaining in the first quarter.

Hamilton came out of the quarter huddle netting its fourth of the day while, Augeri quickly replied. With 12:03 left in the half, the Bombers took the lead as Anna Dahlman netted a goal of an assist from Taya Dukes. Hamilton replied with two goals, reclaiming the lead as the Bombers turned to Augeri to tie it back up at 6-6.

The Continentals then took off on a four-goal run, which was stopped as Cody netted her 40th of the season. Hamilton continued to pounce as the Continentals netted two more, sending the Bombers into half time down by five goals at 12-7.

Out of halftime, the Continentals netted another goal on the day. Dahlman and Augeri then both found the back of the net bringing the Bombers within four at 13-9. Hamilton then netted two more goals, extending their lead to six to wrap the third quarter.

Throughout the 4th quarter, it was all Hamilton as the Continentals went on a six-goal run to account for the 21-9 final.
