RESULTS

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's cross country team competed in the 2021 Liberty League Championships on Saturday at Saratoga Spa State Park and finished third overall with 69 points. St. Lawrence edged out Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the team championship as the Saints compiled 58 points to the Engineers' 62 on the 6K course. A total of 108 runners competed in the championship.

Vassar College rounded out the top-four teams with 84 points. The Brewers were followed by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT, 119 points), Clarkson University (125), William Smith College (225), Union College (242) and Bard College (256).

The top-21 finishers earned All-Liberty League honors, which includes a first-team, second-team and honorable mention. The All-Liberty League First Team recognizes those that placed first through seventh while the All-Liberty League Second Team honors those that placed eighth through fourteenth and the honorable mention is for fifteenth through twenty-first.

For the Bombers, three runners earned second-team honors, while four were honorable mention. Those seven runners finished just 29 seconds apart.

Jillian Shea was the first IC runner to complete the course as she came in 11th overall in 24:27.3, while Rachel Rose followed in 12th with a time of 24:31.9.

Lauren Lobdell was not far behind in 14th at 24:38.8 and Lindsay Scott took 15th with a time of 24:43.4.

Paloma De Monte posted a time of 24:48.8 to place 17th. Julia Tomanovich clocked a time of 24:53.1 to place 20th and Meredith Garrity secured 21st in 24:56.6.
