ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Saratoga Springs this Saturday, October 30 to compete in the Liberty League Championships at Saratoga State Park. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Union College will serve as host institutions for the championship races, which begin at 10 a.m. with the men's 8K and the women's 6K follow at 11 a.m. Awards ceremonies are scheduled to take place at noon.
Individuals who place in the top seven are recognized as All Liberty League First Team. Finishers 8-14 are Second Team and 15-21 are Honorable Mention. Medals will be given to the top 21 runners of each race. All participating schools are allowed to enter 14 runners in each race.

The IC men have finished third (2019) and fourth (2017 and 2018) on two occasions since joining the Liberty League. The women won in 2017, finished second in 2019 and were fifth in 2018.
RPI will enter Saturday as the defending championship for both men and women.
In 2019,
Chris Singer was the top individual runner in the championship, while Parley
Hannan took the individual title in the women's race.
Taryn Cordani won the championship for IC in 2017.
