The Ithaca College softball team fell to SUNY Cortland 2-0 on the first day of the NCAA Regional.
The game was scoreless until the fourth inning when the Red Dragons took a 1-0 lead. After adding one more run in the bottom of the fifth, the Bombers were unable to make a comeback.
Cortland's Stephanie Adamshick is now 21-2 with the victory, while IC's Zahida Sherman is now 14-7 on the year.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Dulac went 2-for-3 with one double during the contest, while freshman Cat Ebert and Hannah Shalett both had one hit.
Ithaca will face Merchant Marine in an elimination game this afternoon at 4 p.m. at Kostrinsky Field.
