ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College softball team saw seven student-athletes earn 2026 Liberty League All-Conference honors, including three First Team selections, as announced by the league office Tuesday morning. The Bombers put together a strong season, finishing 23-12 overall and advancing to the Liberty League Championship game, where they secured a runner-up finish.
Mady Rowell,
Madison Schoenenberger and
Anna Bello highlighted Ithaca's honorees with First Team nods, while
Cate Murray landed on the Second Team.
Haley Petrucci,
Isabella Maynard and
Kailen Winkelblech rounded out the selections with Honorable Mention distinctions.
Rowell earned All-Liberty League First Team honors after being named to the Second Team in 2025. The junior emerged as Ithaca's top pitcher, compiling a 9-3 record with a 2.26 ERA across 99.1 innings pitched. Her ERA ranked best among all Liberty League pitchers, while her .245 opponent batting average was second lowest in the conference.
Both
Anna Bello and
Madison Schoenenberger earned their first career All-Liberty League selections following breakout seasons. Bello was one of two players to start all 35 games, posting a career-best .354 batting average while recording a .980 fielding percentage in center field to go along with 47 putouts. She also set career highs in doubles (8), walks (12), runs scored (25), and stolen bases (6). Schoenenberger secured the starting shortstop role and made an immediate impact, leading the team with a .385 batting average. She also paced the Bombers with five home runs, while adding 16 RBI and 22 runs scored.
Senior
Cate Murray earned All-Liberty League Second Team honors for the second-straight season. Murray produced the second-best batting average on the team at .371 as she collected 33 hits, which included six doubles, two triples and a pair of homers. She tied for a team-high 20 RBI and her 13 stolen bases led the Bombers.
For the third consecutive season,
Haley Petrucci earned All-Liberty League honors after posting a .341 batting average to go along with 19 RBI and 14 runs scored. She closed her four-year career with 140 appearances and a .338 career average, while her 102 RBI are tied for ninth most in program history. Petrucci also slugged 22 home runs, ranking fourth all-time at Ithaca.
Isabella Maynard and
Kailen Winkelblech joined Petrucci as Honorable Mention selections. Winkelblech appeared in 34 games, making 32 starts in right field, and posted a .311 batting average with 33 hits on the season. She also scored 15 runs, closing out her career on South Hill as a .308 hitter with 103 career hits. Sophomore third baseman
Isabella Maynard found her stride during Liberty League play and finished the season with a .314 batting average. In 70 at-bats, she recorded eight doubles, tied for second on the team, while also driving in 16 RBI.
