ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College softball head coach Kelly Robichaud has announced the hiring of MacQuarrie Stone-Folmar as the new assistant coach heading into the 2026-27 academic year.

"I'm excited to introduce MacQuarrie Stone-Folmar as our next assistant coach," said Robichaud. "Beyond her softball background, what stood out most during the search process was her commitment to supporting player growth both on and off the field. She brings great enthusiasm and a high-level mindset that aligns perfectly with our program's values."

Stone-Folmar most recently worked at Gettysburg College as the Director of Football Operations for the 2026 season.

She was a four-year member of the softball program at Division II Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla. She played in 215 games, starting 214 of those as a shortstop, and finished her career with 169 hits, 90 runs and 79 RBI. She graduated in 2025 with a degree in sports management.

A native of Brookfield, Conn., Stone-Folmar comes from a coaching family, as her mother has been the head softball coach at Western Connecticut State University for 20 years and her father was recently hired as the head football coach at Millersville University. She also has three uncles who are baseball coaches at the collegiate and high school levels.
