The Ithaca College softball team lost both of its games against East Stroudsburg University, losing the first game 4-3 and the second game 4-1.

The Warriors scored two runs in the bottom of the second inning, but the Bombers took the lead with three runs scored in the top of the fourth inning. ESU tied the contest with one run in the bottom of the fourth inning and scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Sue Schneider had the lone RBI of the day for the Bombers and Sue Dagget went 2-for-3. M.E. Alger went 1-for-3 with one run scored.

Alger recorded two strikeouts and only allowed eight hits through seven innings pitched.

Game 2 | ESU 4, Ithaca 1

The game was scoreless until Ithaca scored one run in the top of the fourth inning. ESU took the lead with two runs scored in the bottom of the fourth inning before adding two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the 4-1 lead.

Debbie Tefft went 2-for-3 with one RBI and Schneider went 2-for-3 with one run scored. Sue France had two hits as well as she went 2-for-3.

Andi Woodbury gave up eight hits in the loss.
