The Ithaca College softball team defeated Adelphi University by a score of 4-0 in the Bombers' final game of the NYSAIAW Championship Tournament.
 
The game was scoreless until Ithaca scored all four of its runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the 4-0 lead that would ultimately win the game.
 
Sue Schneider went 1-for-2 with one RBI and Debbie Tefft had one RBI as well. Sue France and Dee Dee Mayes both went 1-for-3 with one run scored.
 
M.E. Alger pitched a two-hitter and struck out four batters in the win.
 
The Bombers finish the season with an overall record of 11-5.
