The Ithaca College softball team defeated Adelphi University by a score of 4-3.
 
Adelphi took an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning and added one run in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend its lead to 3-0. Ithaca tied the game with three runs scored in the top of the fifth inning before scoring the game-winning run in the top of the seventh inning.
 
Lori Mike went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Karen Stegenga went 1-for-2 with one RBI. DebbieTefft went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and Debbie Walton went 1-for-3.
 
M.E. Alger held Adelphi to five hits through seven innings pitched.
