The Ithaca College softball team lost both of its games against Army, losing the first game 1-0 and the second game 7-0.

The game was scoreless until the top of the seventh inning when Army scored its lone run of the game. Ithaca was unable to score any runs throughout the game.

Sophomore Maria Kramer had the lone hit for the Bombers as she went 1-for-3.

Junior Kathy Volpi had a great game on the mound for Ithaca as she only allowed three hits and had one strikeout through seven innings pitched.

Amy scored four runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the 4-0 lead and added three runs in the top of the fifth inning to extend its lead to 7-0.

Junior Carol Buckheit led the Bombers with two hits as she went 2-for-3. Kramer and junior Patti Sheedy both went 1-for-3 in the game.

Freshman Julie Wilcox gave up six hits and struck out one batter in the loss.
