The Ithaca College softball team lost against American International College by a score of 5-4.
 
The Bombers jumped out to a big 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but American International cut the lead to 3-1 with one run scored in the bottom half of the inning. The Bombers added one run in the top of the third inning to extend their lead to 4-1.
 
In the bottom of the seventh inning, American International rallied to score four runs and take the 5-4 lead to win the game.
 
Sophomore Wendy Jo Haft went 1-for-2 with two RBI and junior Carol Buckheit went 2-for-3 with one run scored. Junior Mildred Piscopo went 2-for-3 with one RBI and senior Diane Para went 1-for-4 with one run scored.
 
Junior Kathy Volpi only allowed five hits through seven innings pitched.
