Ithaca vs TCNJ, 1990

The Ithaca College softball team lost both games of its doubleheader against The College of New Jersey, losing the first game 5-2 and the second game 10-0. 
 
Game 1 | TCNJ 5, Ithaca 2
The Lions scored two runs in the second inning and added one run in the third inning to take the 3-0 lead. The Bombers scored two runs in the fifth inning to cut the lead to 3-2, but TCNJ added one run in the fifth and sixth innings to secure the 5-2 lead. 
 
Junior Amy Bannon hit a two-run single in the fifth inning as she finished the day going 1-for-4. Sophomore Heather Afarian went 2-for-3 with one run scored and junior Jodi Maddren went 1-for-3 with one run scored. 
 
Freshman Heather Ware gave up 10 hits in her eighth loss of the season. 
 
Game 2 | TCNJ 10, Ithaca 0
 
The Lions scored four runs in the first inning and three runs in the second inning to jump out to a 7-0 lead. TCNJ added one run in the third inning and two more runs in the fifth inning to secure the 10-0 win in five innings. 
 
Freshman Kelle Jo Rolfe went 1-for-1 in the game. Sophomore Nancy Liskiewicz and freshman Kim Lamoureaux both went 1-for-2. 
 
Ware allowed seven hits through 4.3 innings pitched. She is now 10-9 on the season.
