The Ithaca College softball team lost against Simpson College by a score of 7-3. 
 
Simpson scored two runs in the second inning to take an early lead and Ithaca tied the contest in the third inning with two runs. Simpson added four runs in the fourth inning to make the score 6-2. Both teams added one more run in the fifth inning for Simpson to secure the win. 
 
Sophomore Heather Afarian went 1-for-3 with two RBI and freshman Kim Lamoureaux went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Sophomore Nancy Liskiewicz added two hits as well in the game. 
 
Freshman Heather Ware only gave up seven hits through five innings pitched.
