The Ithaca College softball team defeated Elmira College by a score of 6-1 in the NYSWCCA Tournament. 
 
Elmira scored its lone run in the first inning and Ithaca scored three runs in the first inning for the Bombers to take an early lead. Ithaca added one more run in the second, fourth and fifth innings to secure the 6-1 win. 
 
Freshman Kim Lamoureaux went 1-for-4 with two RBI and sophomore Nancy Liskiewicz went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Junior Marie Higby and sophomore Heather Afarian both went 3-for-4 with one RBI. 
 
Freshman Heather Ware allowed eight hits and recorded five strikeouts in the win.
