The Ithaca College softball team lost to Simpson College by a score of 7-3.
 
Both teams scored two runs in the first inning to make the score 2-2. When Ithaca took the lead in the top of the second inning, Simpson responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning to re-take the lead.
 
Simpson scored one run in the third inning and two runs in the fifth inning to make the score 7-3.
 
Freshman Nancy Liskiewicz went 1-for-2 with two RBI and sophomore Marie Higby went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Sophomore Marybeth Progno and freshman Heather Afarian both went 1-for-2 in the game.
 
Senior Julie Wilcox recorded one strikeout and only allowed seven hits. She is now 1-2 on the season.
