The Ithaca College softball team opened the Montclair State Tournament with a 5-1 loss against TCNJ.
 
The Lions scored four runs in the third inning to take an early lead. Both teams scored one run in the fourth inning to give TCNJ the 5-1 win.
 
Junior Nancy Liskiewicz had the only hit for the Bombers in the game as she went 1-for-3.
 
Junior Heather Ware pitched her first game of the season as she gave up nine hits through seven innings pitched.
