The Ithaca College softball team defeated the University of Mount Union by a score of 4-2.
 
The Bombers scored three runs in the top of the second inning to take an early 3-0 lead. Both teams scored one run in the fourth inning to make the score 4-1 and Mount Union added one more run in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 4-2.
 
Senior Heather Afarian and junior Missy Foley both went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Junior Kristin Letourneau went 2-for-2 with one run scored and senior Stacy Swiger went 3-for-3 with one run scored.
 
Senior Stacy Johnson pitched a one-hitter through six innings pitched and recorded eight strikeouts in her first win of the season.
