The Ithaca College softball team lost to Eastern Connecticut State University by a score of 5-0 in the Bombers' opening game of the NCAA Northeast Regional.
 
ECSU scored one run in the bottom of the second inning and added four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take a commanding 5-0 lead.
 
Junior Nancy Liskiewicz went 2-for-3 and junior Kim Lamoureaux went 1-for-3. Junior Maura Keenan and senior Stacy Swiger both went 1-for-2 in the game.
 
Senior Stacy Johnson only gave up four hits and had one strikeout in the loss.
