Ithaca vs TCNJ, 1999

The No. 4 Ithaca College softball team defeated No. 16 The College of New Jersey by a score of 6-5.
 
The game was tied 5-5 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning when freshman Mairin Dudek hit the game-winning RBI to give the Bombers the 6-5 win.
 
TCNJ scored two runs in the first inning and three runs in the second inning to take a 5-0 lead after two innings. The Bombers cut the lead to 5-3 with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Ithaca added one run in each of the fifth and sixth innings to tie the game at 5-5.
 
Junior Kristin Muenzen went 2-for-2 with three RBI and Dudek finished the game with two hits as she went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Junior Janine Lawler went 1-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored, and sophomore Lindy West went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
 
Junior Robin Bimson set a school record with her 20th win as she had one strikeout and only gave up six hits.
