The Ithaca College softball team was defeated by Simpson College by a score of 8-0.
 
Simpson scored its first five runs in the first inning to take a 5-0 lead. The Storm added one run in the fourth inning and two runs in the fifth inning to secure the 8-0 win.
 
Junior Janine Lawler led the team with two hits as she went 2-for-2. Freshman Mairin Dudek had one hit as she went 1-for-2 during the game.
 
Junior Robin Bimson had one strikeout and allowed 10 hits in her first loss of the season.
