The Ithaca College softball team won the Cortaca Softball Invitational with an 8-1 win over Buffalo State.

Ithaca scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning to take an early 4-0 lead. Buffalo State scored one run in the top of the fourth inning, but Ithaca responded with four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to secure the 8-1 win.

Remia hit her first grand slam of her career as she finished the day going 1-for-1 with four RBI and two runs scored. Wah went 2-for-3 with one RBI and senior Julie McGraw went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored.

Junior Robin Bimson had four strikeouts and only allowed four hits in her ninth win of the season.

With the 3-0 performance at the Cortaca Softball Invitational, the Bombers are now 16-6 on the season.
