The Ithaca College softball team is now 7-0 on the season as the Bombers defeated Anderson University by a score of 3-1.
 
Anderson scored one run in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the fourth inning when the Bombers tied the contest at 1-1. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Ithaca added two runs to secure the 3-1 lead.
 
Junior Janine Lawler went 2-for-3 with one RBI and freshman Kristin Furdon had one RBI as well as she went 2-for-3. Senior Laura Remia led the team with three hits as she went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
 
Junior Robin Bimson gave up seven hits and recorded five strikeouts in the contest.
