The Ithaca College softball team lost to Alma College by a score of 4-2 at the NCAA Division III World Series.

Ithaca jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Alma quickly tied the game with one run in the bottom of the first inning. The Bombers retook the lead with one run scored in the top of the second inning and maintained the 2-1 lead until the bottom of the fifth inning when Alma scored two runs to take the 3-2 lead. Alma tacked on one final run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Junior Vanessa Montorsi went 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored and sophomore Lindy West went 1-for-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

Junior Robin Bimson gave up nine hits and had one strikeout through six innings pitched. The Bombers finish the season with an overall record of 29-13.
