The No. 21 Ithaca College softball team wrapped up regular season play with two wins against Utica College, winning the first game 10-1 and the second game 10-2.

The Bombers scored three runs in the top of the first inning to take an early lead. Ithaca added three runs in the top of the fourth inning and Utica scored its only run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The Bombers scored one run in the top of the fifth inning and three additional runs in the top of the sixth inning to secure the 10-1 win in six innings.

Senior Laura Remia went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored, which included one home run and her 17th double of the season. Remia also raised her career RBI total to 178, which is seventh on the NCAA Division III career list.

Junior Kristin Furdon hit her third home run of the season as she went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Sophomore Liz Yentema added three hits as she went 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored.

Sophomore Abby Hanrahan picked up her 21st win of the season as she only allowed three hits and had eight strikeouts through six innings pitched.

The Bombers scored five runs throughout the first two innings to take an early lead and Utica scored one run in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 5-1. Both teams scored one run in the fourth inning to make the score 6-2, and the Bombers added four more runs throughout the last two innings to secure the 10-2 win.

Remia hit her 12th home run of the season as she finished the game going 1-for-2 with one RBI and three runs scored. Junior Kim Sebastiao went 1-for-5 with two RBI and Furdon went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Sophomore Rachel Meth is now 6-3 on the season as she only allowed six hits and recorded six strikeouts in the win.

The Bombers finish the regular season with an overall record of 28-12 and will await the announcement of the NCAA playoffs May 6.
